Preparing your Quilt for Machine Quilting |
| 1. Press quilt top and backing. |
|
2. Batting and backing must be at least 8 inch wider(4 inches on either side) and 10 inches longer than the quilt top (5 inches on either side) |
|
3. Quilt top and back should be square. Be sure to trim outside borders evenly. (Remember to remove all selvage edges.) |
| 4. Trim all threads from quilt. |
| 5. Stay stitch around top and or backing if there are open seams. |
|
6. Do not baste or pin quilt. |
